From a young age, I loved to draw and paint, and longed to go to art school. Although a full immersion never took place, I was always taking art classes at whatever local community college we lived near. In the late 1980’s I fell in love with printmaking. By the time we moved back to Oregon, I’d had several one-person shows that featured my massive installation, mixed media pieces. Many of which you can see on the link above.
Our move back to the farm cut a wide swath through available time, and now my hands just cannot hold up to carving woodblocks and the like. I’m forever grateful for that period in my life when I could push the medium and myself.
